Requirements to Join Our Babysitting Team
We don’t operate like a typical job board. Instead, we match you with families based on your availability and experience.
Working With Children Check
A current, valid WWCC is required before you can be placed with any family. If you don’t have one yet, you will need to obtain one before commencing work.
National Police Clearance
A current police clearance (less than 6 months old) is required. This must be renewed as it expires.
First Aid Certification
A valid First Aid certificate is required. If you don’t currently hold one, you will need to obtain certification before commencing.
Childcare Qualifications
A Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent qualification, is highly regarded but not mandatory for all roles.

Reliable Transport

Do I need all the certifications before I apply?
You need a current Working With Children Check, National Police Clearance, and First Aid certificate to commence work with us. If you don’t have all of these yet, you can still apply,
just indicate in your application which ones you are willing to obtain. We cannot place you with families until all required checks are in place.
How many hours per week would I typically work?
This varies depending on your availability, the role types you apply for, and the demand for care in your area. Some carers work a few casual hours per week; others have regular full-time arrangements. We will work to match your availability with family needs as closely as possible.
Can I work for other agencies at the same time?
Yes, you can be registered with other agencies. Please disclose this in your application. We ask that you are transparent about your availability and that any commitments to BOD families are honoured, along with signing a non-disclosure form to protect our processes.
What happens if a booking isn’t a good fit?
Open communication is the most important thing. If a placement isn’t working for you, for nay reason, please talk to us as soon as possible. We will always do our best to find the right resolution for both you and the family.
How do I submit my availability each week?
Once you are approved and onboarded, you will be required to submit your availability on a weekly basis in advance. This is how we match you with appropriate bookings. Failure to submit your availability will mean you are not put forward for positions that week.
